Particularly for early Peach potato aphid and late Bird Cherry aphid activity when the UK climate can make scouting for them an unpleasant activity.

Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique
Extensive catalogue of European Crop Pests from the French Agricultural Institute INRA. Ideal for students and those looking for detailed information on pest biology. Many images of pests and associated damage to plants. Excellent internal links with an entomological glossary. Very useful information on host plants and life cycles but beware that common names might be credited to different species to those found in the UK. Also note that periods of insect activity in a continental climate may be different to the UK.
